Part Time Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist

Toowoomba Orthodontists is a busy & progressive orthodontic practice located in the heart of Toowoomba on Margaret Street, with a branch practice in Warwick. We provide Specialist Orthodontic care with the latest digital technology in teeth straightening. Toowoomba Orthodontists are Australia's experts in customised braces & Toowoomba's leading clear aligners providers. We require a qualified part time Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist for 3-5 days per week, dependent on experience and qualifications, to join our friendly fast paced & dynamic team.
Duties Include:
- working with specialist orthodontists and other oral health therapists with support and mentoring provided
- performing orthodontic procedures such as debonds and attaching lingual wire retainers and more
- using dental computer software
- working closely with patients and providing them with oral hygiene instructions
The successful applicant will have the following Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor of Oral Health or Bachelor of Dental Hygiene
- good work ethic and great communication skills
- motivated, reliable and team oriented
- ability to multi-task and prioritise
- attention to detail
- experience in orthodontics not necessary
- computer skills with Microsoft Word & Powerpoint would be ideal
