Operations Manager Job Description

Our company seeks a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our team in Sydney. This permanent full-time position presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact within the aged care contract catering industry.

This role offers a fantastic chance for a dynamic individual to oversee and manage operations across multiple sites within the aged care and education sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of relevant Food Authority Legislation and Aged Care or Education Accreditation processes, as well as exceptional leadership skills.

The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, delivering exceptional service to clients, achieving budget targets through effective cost management, and developing strong client relationships.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing 6 to 8 sites, with additional travel required as needed. The role also requires regular visits to our Parramatta office.

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can motivate teams, work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or similar Hospitality qualifications
  • Experience in multi-site management in the Aged care or Education sectors
  • Previous experience in contract catering, managing events and/or corporate hospitality industries
