Business Operations Specialist Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing advice and making recommendations on civil design, traffic, transport, and road safety issues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the design services division to develop and implement effective design solutions.
  • Lead teams and effectively deal with people at all levels, representing the organization capably to developers, consultants, other government agencies, and the public.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, be eligible for membership with Engineers Australia, and possess highly developed report writing and team leading skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager Design Services to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.

You will work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Highly developed written, communication, and research skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and represent the organization effectively.
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SIDRA software package and interpretation.
  • Holding a current NSW Class C driver's license.

Advantageous qualifications and experience include proven track records in project management and civil design, as well as experience in local government engineering/design environments.
