We are seeking a Waste Management Operator to join our team in delivering high-quality waste collection and disposal services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of vehicles and equipment, including side-loading rubbish & recycle trucks, Schaffer Loaders, and rear-loading litter & verge trucks.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collect and maintain 240 litre mobile garbage bins.
  • Collect verge-side green waste, including illegally dumped material.
  • Litter collection, including park and street bins.
  • Repair, assemble, and deliver bins, including installation of street litter bins.
Requirements:
  • HR truck license - minimum HR-A.
  • Experience in the waste industry and operating heavy-rigid vehicles/trucks.
  • Proven ability to operate various waste collection vehicles and associated plant and machinery.
  • Strong map-reading and navigation skills.
  • Traffic Management Ticket and experience highly regarded.
  • Professional, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance.
