Waste Service Request Officer job in Melbourne paying circa $35.00 - $40.00 per hour for a local council.

**Your new role**

The Waste Service Request Officer reports to the Coordinator Waste Management Services, you’ll:

- Ensure timely processing of customer requests (CRMs) received by Waste Management Services for action by external contractors or internal teams
- Maintain oversight of current active cases and support service delivery through closure of CRMs and Work Orders and related administrative tasks

**What you'll need to succeed**

As well as qualifications in an Environmental related field, you’ll have:

- Experience in Local Government or waste management
- Experience responding to and processing customer requests or delivering support online or over the phone, or similar work that required interpreting and allocating service requests (e.g. work in operations, customer service)
- Accurately and efficiently interpret and manage CRMs to ensure required details are provided to the correct internal team/external contractor to enable service delivery
