Financial Operations Manager - Property Portfolio

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our property investment and development business as a Financial Operations Manager.

About the Role

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the full financial operations for a diverse portfolio of properties.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing property-related transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Preparing monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Liaising with external auditors during audit processes.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow projections.
  • Preparing tax packs and BAS submissions.
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analysis and project work.
  • Developing systems, processes, and procedures to improve data accuracy and reporting timeliness.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree-qualified accountant, ideally with CPA/CA accreditation.
  • Proven experience in property accounting or management accounting within the property sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience using MRI or similar property management/accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving mindset.
