This is a part-time (22.8 hours) position.

As Finance Manager, you'll play a key leadership role, owning the end-to-end finance function and partnering closely with our CFO, CEO and National Leadership Team (NLT). You'll be a critical voice in driving data-led decisions and providing strategic financial insights that shape the future of our business.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead the month-end close and reporting process with accuracy and insights
• Prepare statutory financial reports and manage external audit processes
• Oversee tax compliance, including IAS, FBT, and GST lodgements
• Maintain strong internal controls and update financial policies as required
  
  

Strategic Finance

• Drive dashboard reporting and visualisation of KPIs to support decision making
• Analyse business unit performance to identify trends and opportunities
• Support strategic planning processes and initiatives including cash flow management and forecasting input
• Ad-hoc financial analysis to assess business scenarios or projects
  
  

Business Partnering & Leadership

• Partner with local and national leaders to support operations with timely and relevant financial insights
• Lead finance process transformation and automation initiatives, integration between CRM and ERP systems, and strengthening financial data integrity
• Mentor and support cross-functional teams, promoting financial literacy across the business
  
  

What You'll Bring

• CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce
• Big 4 trained or similar experience, with strong technical accounting expertise
• In-depth knowledge of Australian tax compliance and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience in a project-based or service-based business
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Jet Reports or Power BI (ideal but not essential)
• Commercial acumen, strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
