About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Duratec Australia, a leading Engineering, Construction and Remediation project contractor. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our major infrastructure remediation projects valued around $3-5Million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating works, equipment, and personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Compile and create QA/QC documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate direct labour workforce, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Project Procurement: Assist in procuring materials and services required for project delivery.
  • Technical Support: Provide advice on technical and engineering issues to ensure project success.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Trade Background or Higher Education Degree: Possess a trade background or higher education degree in a relevant field.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Construction Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of construction plans and processes.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous Remediation Experience: Possess previous experience in remediation projects.
  • Willingness to Learn and Progress Career: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and progress career in project coordination.
  • Proficient in MS Project and Excel: Possess proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
