Business Operations Manager: Payroll Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to lead our payroll services.

About the Role

The role provides strategic oversight of business processes, driving continuous improvement and strong governance. It includes high-level administration and technical support of our systems, training and capability building for system users, and the development and maintenance of operational frameworks to support excellence and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services.
  2. Strategic oversight and governance of business policies, procedures, and systems.
  3. Supporting continuous improvement across operations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience managing and administering business operations in a medium to large organisation, with a strong focus on compliance, governance, and audit requirements.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in business system administration and reporting, with strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and business systems.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to guide, mentor, and support team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
