Job Title: Senior GIS Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Developer to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our spatial data development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain our Spatial GIS system
  • Develop and implement GIS solutions to support business needs
  • Mentor and coach team members to increase productivity and team outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal customers throughout development projects and system processes
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the team
Technical Requirements:
  • MS SQL Server – spatial data management, database design, administration, optimization
  • MS SQL Server Reporting Services - design, implementation & administration
  • Python
  • Spatial Web Services, REST APIs
  • Cloud computing including AWS, Azure
  • CRM/ERP technologies
  • Development environment - GIT version control
  • Experience with NoSQL database, particularly MongoDB is ideal
  • Experience developing QGIS plugins, ideally experience hosting a private plugin repository and plugins hosted in the official QGIS plugin repository
