The successful candidate will have a degree in Economics or a related commercial discipline, advanced knowledge of economic theory, and 5-10 years of relevant professional experience. They will also demonstrate experience in economic analysis within a business, regulatory body, or government agency, as well as a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and expectations for network utility businesses.
Key responsibilities include developing expenditure frameworks for forecasting expenditure and valuing service outcomes, conducting cost-benefit analyses, designing strategies to optimise incentive scheme outcomes, and contributing to external advocacy on national regulatory reforms.
Benefits- Starting salary of $192,602.76 per annum + super
- 13% superannuation (1% above current legislated employer contributions)
