Female Disability Support Worker – Gold Coast North

At Point Care, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.

We are seeking a female support worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.

The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with diverse needs and abilities, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

Provide individualized support to clients with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, bathing and grooming.

Assist clients with transportation to appointments and outings.

Offer respite care to clients and their families when needed.

Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client care plans and progress.

Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in individual support or equivalent.
  • Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Ability to work day shift, night shifts, sleepovers and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
  • Basic care and first aid skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
