About the role

Erma Care , a leading provider of disability support services, is seeking a matured Female Support Worker (preferably over 45 ,at client request ) to work every Thursdays from 12 noon to 6pm with possibilities of filling in other shifts in Burpengary East, QLD.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing and independence

Advocating for client needs and ensuring their rights are upheld

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care

Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure a coordinated approach to client support

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for supporting the aged and disabled community

Relevant experience or qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Compassionate and patient approach, with a focus on client-centred care

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
