Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Zero Harm Business Partner. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in supporting our business units and delivering high-quality outcomes that contribute to our essential services.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert health and safety technical advice, management system guidance, and practical support to leaders and staff across the business unit. You will also facilitate the development of a zero harm leadership culture within the business unit, focused on manager-led delivery of positive zero harm outcomes.

You will work closely with line of business leaders, contract managers, and employees to ensure understanding and adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will facilitate professional and timely investigations of incidents within business areas or lead complex investigations utilizing ICAM or equivalent methodology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Past experience within a workplace health and safety or OHS-related role
  • A formal work health and safety qualification (diploma or degree qualified in a relevant discipline)
  • Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology
  • Strong skills and experience in conducting risk assessments and verifying site safety management plans
  • Conducting WHS/OHS management system and/or environmental management system audits within the past two years
  • Holding or ability to obtain a defence security clearance
