Senior Excavation Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Excavation Operations Manager to oversee and supervise daily bulk excavation operations, ensuring efficient project completion, safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute daily excavation operations, allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to regulations and protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, providing exceptional communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate work performance, offering guidance and support to crew members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate records of progress, materials used, and labor hours, utilizing data to inform future project planning.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in bulk excavation projects, with expertise in earthworks, grading, and site preparation.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of excavation machinery and safety equipment, with a focus on best practices and regulatory compliance.
