Role Summary:

Australian Investment Accounting (AIA) provides valuation, accounting, and administration services to Australian superannuation and Global Fund Services investment manager clients. Our team delivers fund accounting, net asset values, fund administration, and reporting services to clients.

This role is part of the Australia Investment Accounting (AIA) team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for overseeing the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function for all AIA clients. You will work closely with the AIA teams in Bangalore, Manila, and Melbourne, as well as with external clients. Additionally, the role has responsibility for the hard close/month-end process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate reports to AIA clients.
  • Provide input to process changes for greater operational efficiency, liaise directly with clients, and support the team manager in ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Complete the hard close/month-end process in Melbourne while streamlining the process.
  • Liaise professionally with internal departments, Chicago, Manila, and Bangalore Unit Pricing, Bangalore Unit Registry, Auditors, and other internal teams.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in written form with internal departments and external bodies.
  • Identify, document, and disseminate new procedures and controls.
  • Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Accounting Analyst. You will be responsible for overseeing the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function and working closely with our teams in Bangalore, Manila, and Melbourne. Requirements:

  • Previous unit pricing experience
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Numerical and computer literacy, including spreadsheet skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate innovation
