Infrastructure Systems Administrator

The RoleWe are seeking a driven and passionate Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for supporting all corporate infrastructure services, including public and private cloud, across the business. Your remit will include:
- Providing day-to-day operational support in accordance with agreed service levels and standard operating procedure.
- Providing technical training to Service Desk team as required.
- Ensuring site availability and reliability in Azure and Private Cloud using VMware vCloud Director.
- Building and configuring all corporate hardware, including desktops, servers, and associated peripherals.
- Working with third-party vendors, including Managed Service Providers, as required.
- Proactively monitoring performance and capacity of supported systems and recommending technological improvements.
- Participating in project deliveries, support, governance, and cyber security implementation.
- Adhering to best practice, change control, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship and thorough documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
- Advanced skills in various IT infrastructure disciplines, including Microsoft 365 and Windows Servers (AD, Entra ID, DNS, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint, DFS, Teams, OneDrive).
- Experience with VMware administration, storage solutions, and backup administration (Veeam).
- Experience managing and administering MECM, with skills and experience with Intune (including Autopilot and MDM for Mobile devices and Windows devices) highly desirable.
- Experience managing infrastructure within a private and public cloud environment, predominantly in Azure.
- Experience supporting various security solutions (Defender, Mimecast, SSO with Okta and Entra ID).
