The Role:

We are seeking a driven and passionate Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in IT infrastructure services. The successful candidate will support all corporate infrastructure services, including public and private cloud environments. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day operational support in accordance with agreed service levels and standard operating procedures.
  • Providing technical training to the Service Desk team as required.
  • Ensuring site availability and reliability in Azure and private cloud environments.
  • Building and configuring corporate hardware, including desktops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Working with third-party vendors, including Managed Service Providers.
  • Proactively monitoring performance and capacity of supported systems and recommending technological improvements.
  • Participating in project deliveries, support, governance, and cyber security implementation.
  • Adhering to best practice, change control, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship and thorough documentation.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be technically competent with various IT infrastructure services and possess the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Advanced skills in various IT infrastructure disciplines, including Microsoft 365 and Windows Servers.
  • Experience managing and administering MECM is compulsory, with skills and experience with Intune highly desirable.
  • Experience managing infrastructure in private and public cloud environments, predominantly in Azure.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing Purview and administering DLP within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with VMware administration, storage solutions, and backup administration.
  • Good scripting ability, mainly with PowerShell.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoying the challenge of reverse engineering solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following established procedure and efficiently communicating plans and changes.
