Explosives Operator

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load blast holes with explosives and stemming material according to design specifications
  • Set up and maintain exclusion zones and signage to ensure site safety during blasting activities
  • Support the Shotfirer with charging operations and tie-in procedures
  • Conduct pre- and post-blast inspections to ensure site compliance and safety
  • Follow all site-specific and statutory safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • Shotfirers license advantageous
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card required
  • Current Manual Drivers License
  • Experience with electronics preferred
