About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our Drill & Blast Team as a Blast Crew member.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, are passionate about delivering exceptional results, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy under pressure.

  • Loading blast holes with explosives and stemming material according to design specifications
  • Setting up and maintaining exclusion zones and signage to ensure site safety during blasting activities
  • Supporting the Shotfirer with charging operations and tie-in procedures
  • Conducting pre- and post-blast inspections to ensure site compliance and safety
  • FOLLOWING ALL SITE-SPECIFIC AND STATUTORY SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:

  • A valid Shotfirers licence (advantageous)
  • A Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • A current Manual Drivers Licence
  • Experience with electronics
