Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for permanent full-time local Team Members to join our Gas crew at Gepps Cross SA depot. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout the gas distribution networks in the Adelaide area. Other duties may include:

- Performing mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance and minor construction activities
- Providing reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issues
- Assist with ordering and installing materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated worksCarry out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution system.

**ABOUT YOU**
- **Site Proficient**:Pervious experience working within excavation, landscaping or outdoor work, with previous Gas, Civil or utilities experience
- **Technically Proficient**:Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform physically demanding tasks
- **Team Oriented**:Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- **Site Qualifications**:Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card - within the last 3 years. MR, HR, MC or relevant Truck Licence (required). Gas Test Atmosphere, Plumbing or Gas Fitter qualifications (desired) Must be clean shaven. Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
