Job Title: Payroll Expert

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex Workday payroll projects, guiding clients through implementation and operation phases, and ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Becoming a Workday payroll product expert with in-depth knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Partnering with clients to understand pain points, prioritize requirements, and identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency by leveraging Workday's payroll functionality.
  • Architecting Workday payroll solutions to ensure cohesive work streams and consideration of cross-functional impacts.
  • Leveraging expertise to recommend the best solution based on client requirements and timeframe, with flexibility to adapt scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Guiding customers through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and understanding of unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Regularly engaging and supporting clients through all phases of the project, ensuring smooth transfers from legacy systems to Workday payroll.
  • Performing multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping clients, project teams, and engagement managers abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Working alongside integration teams to configure and test integrations between Workday solutions and clients' selected payroll and benefits providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years ERP or SaaS payroll implementations and configuration update experience.
  • Workday payroll implementation experience preferred.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial Management.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively manage client expectations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.
