In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that Technology Risk is managed effectively, aligned with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and overall risk appetite. You will drive a strong, proactive risk culture and facilitate clear understanding of the risk framework through targeted training initiatives.

You will perform assurance reviews on critical controls, risk focus areas, issue closure testing, and other targeted reviews while leveraging data tools such as Alteryx to identify operational issues and control breakdowns. This will enable you to advise senior stakeholders on sustainable remediation strategies and support incident root cause investigation, trending analysis, and identification of processes for automation.

This position requires 8+ years of Technology expertise with operational risk management, technology operations, and assurance experience within financial services, preferably in Institutional Banking or Markets. You will need excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and constructively challenge the status quo.

The salary for this position is estimated at $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, Macquarie employees can access a range of benefits, including hybrid and flexible working arrangements, one wellbeing leave day per year, up to five additional days leave based on length of service, paid volunteer leave, and donation matching.
