About the Job

This position is responsible for managing the security of AWS Data Centers and servers. As a Security Program Manager, you will oversee the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to ensure the highest standards of security and compliance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope and Design: Define project scope and develop security system designs that meet AWS requirements.
  • Best Practice Procurement Processes: Engage with procurement teams to implement best practice processes for procuring security-related materials and equipment.
  • Financial Processes Contribution and Approval Management: Contribute to the development of financial processes and approval management procedures to ensure timely and accurate funding for security projects.
  • Pace Implementation of Projects: Implement security projects at pace, ensuring timely completion and handover to operations teams.
  • Highest Standard Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of security systems to ensure they meet AWS standards.
  • Complete Handover to Customers: Provide complete handover to customers, including training and support.
A Day in the Life:

You'll spend your days designing security systems across multiple AWS sites. This includes preparing bills of materials for project funding, planning to meet critical milestones, executing and monitoring project risks closely as you work toward handover to operations teams. Accurate record-keeping is also essential in this role, forming the final phase of the project.
