Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Food Safety and Quality Assurance Officer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained throughout our production process. This includes conducting pre-operational hygiene assessments, performing meat hygiene inspections and microbial samplings, and monitoring and maintaining AQIS programs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar FSQA position and be familiar with the meat industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer and MS Office skills, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular hygiene assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor and maintain records of food safety and quality control measures
  • Collaborate with the H.A.C.C.P team to ensure seamless implementation of food safety protocols
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
