FSQA Officer Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained throughout the production process.

As a Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) officer, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, reporting, and rectifying any issues that may arise within product, hygiene, and food safety.

  • Conduct pre-operational assessments to guarantee a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain meat hygiene inspections and microbial samplings to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor adherence to AQIS programs, including MSQA and market-specific segregation protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HACCP team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify product and process specifications related to the dock and blast freezer to guarantee accurate and efficient operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to WHS, environmental regulations, quality assurance, and MSQA programs.
  • Participate in projects and activities as required to drive business growth and excellence.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar FSQA position is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience within the meat industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in computer software and Microsoft Office applications is necessary for optimal performance.
