Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

Our team is responsible for developing data-driven solutions to drive commercial growth and deeper engagement.

  • Implement Governance Frameworks: You'll work closely with senior leaders to implement and maintain AI and Data Governance frameworks.
  • Champion Data Integrity: Ensure the quality and integrity of key data assets are fit for purpose.
  • Drive Privacy Compliance: Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects, ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act and APPs.
  • Manage Risk: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data privacy and the responsible use of AI.
  • Collaborate and Educate: Partner with teams across the business to embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture and contribute to training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional experience in data privacy, data governance, or technology risk.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
  • Hands-on experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
  • Data management principles, including data quality and lifecycle management.
  • Ai concepts, such as machine learning and generative Ai, and their associated privacy challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
