**Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional**

We're embarking on a new chapter in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI). Based in our AI Centre of Excellence, you'll set frameworks and standards while driving adoption and best practice capability uplift across the organisation in relation to AI.

In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping our responsible and ethical approach to AI, developing and implementing a comprehensive AI governance framework that ensures our AI systems align with our values, legal obligations, risk appetite, and industry best practices.

You'll define clear policies, procedures, and guidelines for AI system development, deployment, and use throughout the organisation. This includes establishing robust processes for risk assessment, mitigation, and monitoring related to AI systems, as well as developing mechanisms for ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI decision-making.

A key aspect of this role is to integrate ethical considerations into all stages of the AI lifecycle, from data collection to model deployment. You'll conduct regular reviews and assessments of AI systems to identify potential biases and unintended consequences.

Additionally, you'll advocate for responsible AI use within the organisation and externally with stakeholders. This may involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI solutions that meet business needs while maintaining high ethical standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with AI technologies, a demonstrated background in governance or compliance, and developed knowledge of ethical considerations related to AI, including bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability.

Key skills include excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for diverse audiences.
