Disability Support Worker - Central Coast

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred active support to individuals living with disability on the Central Coast. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with mental health challenges, complex needs, and high behaviours of concern
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and manual handling
  • Implement person-centred active support and follow behaviour support plans

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with disability, particularly those with high behaviours of concern
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to work across a 24/7 roster
  • An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
