Disability Support Professional

We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist people with disabilities in achieving their goals and living independently.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting participants with daily living tasks, promoting independence and participation in the community, and providing emotional support and positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist participants with personal care, health, and hygiene, and household activities
  • Develop personalized plans to promote independence and participation
  • Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability qualification (or currently undertaking studies)
  • Experience working with mental health, complex behaviors, and high physical support needs (desirable)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and vehicle
  • Working With Children Check and National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Skillset:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English (desirable)
