Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to drive environmental compliance, mentoring teams and ensuring high standards across our operations. This role offers a unique blend of office and field-based work.

  • This is a deliverable based role with annual performance reviews and autonomy to deliver agreed outcomes flexibly across hours and sites.
  • You will lead environmental assurance activities including audits, inspections and control checks.
  • You will support environment compliance with legislation, regulations and project standards.
  • You will mentor field crews and leadership teams to embed sustainability into daily operations.
  • You will manage environmental incidents and lead investigations with corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering Management, or related field.
  • Solid experience in operational or major project environments.
  • Experience in road transport sector is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills.
