About Shell Australia, a leader in natural gas production, we are now hiring an Environmental Compliance Specialist. This role is a critical part of our operations, ensuring that we meet all relevant environmental regulations and maintain a strong social license to operate.

This position involves working closely with various stakeholders to identify and manage environmental compliance risks. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, as well as providing guidance on regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as environmental science, law or business.
  • Proven experience in environmental compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
