Commissioning Coordinator/Supervisor

Full-time, permanent position

To support their ongoing projects, they are in search of a proficient Commissioning Coordinator to enhance their dynamic team.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will report to the Commissioning Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of intricate systems, ensuring compliance with high standards and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership & Coordination: Direct commissioning teams through factory acceptance testing, installation verification, pre-commissioning, and performance assessments.
  2. Safety & Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and environmental protocols. Identify potential hazards and enforce organizational policies.
  3. Technical Expertise: Formulate and manage commissioning strategies, allocate resources, and verify that systems fulfill performance criteria.
  4. Customer Focus: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and deliver services that surpass expectations.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Propel internal system enhancements and improve external service delivery.
  6. Communication: Facilitate effective communication within teams and with stakeholders to ensure clarity and influence project results.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Electrical Trade or Engineering degree
  2. High voltage experience or qualification (Desirable)
  3. Experience in hazardous areas or relevant qualifications
  4. Relevant industry experience in power generation or related heavy industries (Oil & Gas, Mining, or Industrial)
  5. Experience aligned with construction commissioning and testing
  6. Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience in testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of power generation facilities and equipment preferred.
  7. Demonstrated success in commissioning roles, with comfort in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  8. Experience with industrial control systems (Desirable)
  9. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Proven ability to meet project deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  12. Proficient in MS Office
  13. Valid driver's license (Essential)
  14. Must possess working rights for Australia
