Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Coordinator/ Supervisor to lead commissioning teams through factory acceptance testing, installation verification, pre-commissioning, and performance testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding health, safety, and environmental standards, identifying and addressing hazards, and enforcing company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Coordination: Lead commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards, and enforce company policies.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and manage commissioning plans, coordinate resources, and ensure systems meet performance specifications.
- Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships and deliver services that exceed expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive internal system improvements and enhance external service delivery.
- Communication: Effectively communicate within teams and with stakeholders to ensure clarity and influence project outcomes.
Requirements
- Electrical Trade, or Engineering degree
- High voltage experience or qualification (Desirable)
- Hazardous area experience or qualifications
- Suitable level of industry experience in power generation or related heavy industry (Oil & Gas, Mining or industrial) aligned with construction commissioning and testing
- Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience of testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning, power generation plant and equipment preferred
- Proven track record of success in commissioning roles, comfortable with both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Industrial control systems experience (Desirable)
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have a track record of meeting project deadlines and managing budgets effectively
- MS Office proficiency
- Hold working rights for Australia
