**Role Overview**

The Application Specialist will be responsible for delivering design, development, implementation, testing, release management and general support of a workforce management system. This role can be located in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with flexible working arrangements from home or office.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work collaboratively across the product with other team members to ensure system development is achieved in line with deployment timeframes and product release schedules
  • Support the existing infrastructure, recommend viable solutions and focus on new technology developments
  • Assess client provided API specifications and deliver complete solutions to adapt integration and work management layers to meet client needs
  • Ensure work is delivered in line with local procedures and multiple deployment schedules for the system deployment
  • Provide support to clients of the platform and associated integrations
  • Contribute and develop supporting documentation and operating procedures

**Requirements**

  • A qualification in ICT ideally in Software & Applications
  • Experience working in an IT release and environment management role
  • DevOps experience, Azure preferred (advantageous)
  • Apache Camel / JBoss Fuse experience
  • SQL development (Oracle/MS)
  • Java (Spring Framework)
  • Oracle Application Express development
  • Development for containerised workloads running in a production Kubernetes environment
  • Monitoring and visualisation experience
  • Intermediate Linux skills and understanding of databases, SQL and basic data reporting
