The Project Manager will direct projects by managing tasks, forecasting workload, financial performance, resource needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct projects by managing tasks, forecasting workload, financial performance, resource needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates throughout the organization.
- Oversee client relationships including periodic meetings, proposal and budget development, and obtaining feedback from Marketing and Practice Area teammates.
- Prepare agreements and oversee the creation and approval of construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Analyze complex opportunities and devise new or improved techniques, approaches, and alternative solutions.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Team Members to achieve goals and strategies for the Practice Area. Encourage career development, training, and career path planning for direct teammates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 7+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience.
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships.
