Role Overview: As a Project Manager Scrum Master, you will collaborate within an agile team comprising Data Architects, Technical Leads, Data Modelers, Data Engineers, Testers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts. Your primary responsibility will be to steer the team in designing, constructing, testing, and implementing data warehouse and data lake solutions, including ETL processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing project scope, timelines, and financials.
  • Coordinating with fellow scrum masters to manage inter-team dependencies and liaising with other departments for schedule alignment.
  • Anticipating client needs to effectively guide the development process, utilizing various delivery methodologies as required.
  • Tracking and reporting on essential agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown) alongside traditional performance indicators (e.g., CPI/SPI).
  • Prioritizing backlog items in collaboration with the team based on customer value and project timelines.
  • Acting as the primary communication conduit between stakeholders and the project team.
  • Facilitating release performance assessments.
  • Ensuring the team is informed about business decisions and consistently delivers valuable increments with each iteration.
  • Navigating the team through complex challenges.
Candidate Profile:
  • Experience in Professional Services, particularly in an onshore/offshore model.
  • Demonstrated success in managing data-centric projects, including ETL, Data Warehousing, and large-scale reporting systems.
  • Proficient in project management within agile frameworks, with a solid grasp of fundamental project management practices.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and customer relations.
  • A keen interest in innovation and familiarity with emerging technology trends.
  • Strong communication skills to manage expectations across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the banking sector is advantageous.
