Job Title: Infrastructure Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Management Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our organization and contribute to the effective management of our infrastructure systems.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate and maintain a register of assets, including roads, drainage, footpaths, cycle ways, bridges, recreational facilities, aerodromes, land, water supply and sewerage systems.
  • Develop and maintain asset management systems and associated registers.
  • Provide infrastructure information for the preparation of asset renewal and replacement programs.
  • Use information from existing and newly acquired assets to produce and maintain a compilation of asset plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes and implement changes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of asset condition and maintenance requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset utilization and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of asset management processes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in applying and understanding accounting policies, principles and Australian Accounting standards for asset management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of financial management and statutory reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Management principals and data maintenance requirements for accurate details within an asset register.
  • Certificate IV in Asset Management, Engineering or equivalent, or four years' experience in a related environment.
  • High levels of data literacy with a demonstrated ability to perform advanced data analysis and implementing performance KPIs.
