Planner Cadet Opportunity

This is a challenging opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience as a Planner Cadet, working closely with the Development Assessment team. The selected candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be committed to providing exceptional customer service, and contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual currently studying a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, in their 2nd year or higher. This role involves providing administrative support to the Development Assessment team, assisting with data entry and record-keeping tasks, developing and maintaining knowledge of planning policies and procedures, participating in training and professional development opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of team goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Criteria
  • Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (2nd year or higher)
  • Available to commit to 3-4 days per week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience
  • Time management and professionalism
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Class C Drivers Licence
