Media Buying Coordinator

About the Role:
The Account Coordinator plays a key support role in the media buying process, assisting in the development of campaigns across offline media channels. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for media and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive support for the team, including client and craft executive and manager level
- Respond to simple client requests
- Collate data for competitor reports, media industry trends, and live research
- Amend and change client plans to reflect client comments
- Support the team in day-to-day administration of client accounts
- Manage client financial processes, including purchase orders and PO sheets
- Support the team in responding to tasks and become an expert on relevant systems and tools
- Build market knowledge and share with the team
- Liaise with media owners and understand their products
- Develop internal relationships to ensure good working practices between teams
- Collaborate with the team to build credible connections with clients
Requirements:
- Strong numerical skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable (e.g. marketing, advertising, business, commerce)
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Competent using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Team player
- Attention to detail that is second to none
- Able to provide solutions and think outside of the box
- A collaborative team member who thrives in working with others
- A true professional with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong organisation skills with a love for being one step ahead
- Has a curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning and fearless growth
