Responsibilities
  • Making Technical Decisions

You will be using your hands-on expertise to drive solutions for various challenges. Your role will involve writing code, researching new technologies, creating POCs, and introducing them to the team.

Advocating New Technologies

You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advocating their adoption within the team. This will also involve enhancing developer experience and upholding a high bar of engineering standards.

Collaboration and Problem Solving

Your role will require collaboration with Product and Design teams to discover and estimate solution options for key strategic initiatives. You will also be accountable for delivering technical solutions within estimated timeframes and operating in an iterative manner.

Leveraging Engineering Expertise

You will influence and problem-solve with Sr, Mid, and Jr engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes. As a Technical Leader, your leadership and mentorship skills will be crucial in driving squads to successful outcomes.

Skills & Experience
  • Lead Software Engineer Experience

You should have 3+ years of experience as a Lead software engineer on high-performing, architecturally complex consumer products. Mastery of PHP or Go would be highly advantageous.

Elasticsearch and Problem-Solving Skills

Experience with Elasticsearch is desirable. Outstanding problem-solving skills, finding elegant solutions to complex problems, are essential for this role.

Collaborative Approach

A collaborative approach to working with other teams and a thoughtful approach to leading and mentoring other engineers are required.
