Join us in this challenging and rewarding role as a Disability Claims Specialist where you will be responsible for managing end-to-end claims processes, providing exceptional service to claimants, and navigating the complexities of insurance with empathy and expertise.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a superannuation or life claims assessment environment and possess excellent communication skills to maintain proactive, solution-focused communication with members, beneficiaries, and solicitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and process cases and payments for members of our fund
- Administer a portfolio of Total Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D) and Terminal Illness (TI) claims with or without insurance cover, Family Law claims, and early release payments
- Provide helpful service to claimants and assist them with their queries along the way
- Experience as a Claims Case Manager managing the end-to-end process of various types of claims, especially Disability Claims
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain proactive, solution-focused communication with members, beneficiaries, and solicitors
