About the Role

We are seeking an Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team in McMahons Point, NSW. As a key member of our IT and Cyber Operations department, you will play a crucial role in protecting our computer networks, systems, and sensitive information from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Analyze Cybersecurity Threats: Stay vigilant and respond promptly to cybersecurity alerts from various sources to ensure timely detection, response, and mitigation of potential threats.
  • Implement Comprehensive Security Measures: Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement effective cybersecurity solutions that safeguard our digital assets.
  • Ensure Data Integrity and Confidentiality: Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of security processes, particularly with respect to sensitive personal information.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Prior experience in cyber analyst or cyber operations work placement is an advantage.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, fundamental knowledge of networking, computing, and infrastructure security mechanisms and controls, as well as broad technology knowledge across software ecosystems.
