Are you looking for a leadership opportunity in facilities management?

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term role for a Principal Facilities Manager to lead our facilities and asset management services.

This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing a diverse property portfolio, leading a team of Facilities Managers, and providing expert technical advice to ensure contract compliance, risk management, and delivery of responsive facility services.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in facilities or asset management within complex property portfolios, ideally in a public sector or critical service environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of Facilities Managers to deliver best-practice asset management, building compliance, and maintenance planning
  • Providing expert technical advice and leadership to ensure contract compliance, risk management, and delivery of responsive facility services
  • Driving strategic asset planning by identifying critical infrastructure needs to inform budget bids and support the court operating environment
  • Ensuring procurement and contractor management processes meet governance, safety, and legislative requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
