About the Role
  • This Speech Pathologist position involves assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties in adults living in residential aged care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver personalized interventions that support clients' communication needs, both in-person and through telehealth services.
  • Collaborate closely with our state-based Speech Pathology Team Leader and national team to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
  • Travel opportunities are available to support clients in regional locations (optional).
  • Advocate for clients' communication needs and provide consultation, education, and support to clients, families, and care teams.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology is essential.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport are required.
  • Passion for working with older adults and individuals with complex needs is vital.
