
Accurate Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Administrator to support the organization in its payroll operations.
About the Role- Process and maintain accurate compensation transactions in accordance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and organizational policies, focusing on timely and consistent service delivery.
- Respond to and resolve routine to moderately complex compensation queries from employees and managers regarding pay, entitlements, deductions, and time and attendance records.
- Prepare regular compensation reports and assist with the analysis of compensation and employee-related data, in conjunction with the time and attendance system.
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies in compensation processing, escalating complex issues to senior compensation staff as required.
- Maintain accurate employee data within compensation systems, and assist with system updates or corrections as directed.
- Support compliance activities, including assisting with documentation and data preparation for internal and external audits.
- Participate in system and process improvement initiatives, including user testing and data validation, under the direction of the Compensation Manager or project team.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end compensation processing using a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), with preference given to candidates who have experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll, and UKG Pro Dimensions.
- A sound understanding of compensation functions, procedures, and legislation.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner.
- Obtain and maintain a current volunteer working with children check at own expense.
