Job Summary:

3PL Logistics Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless logistics operations. The incumbent will collaborate with the Senior Logistics Manager to oversee 3PL warehouse functions, including inbound and outbound operations, inventory management, and continuous improvement.

Inbound Operations:
  • Monitor open orders and projected shipments from Paris, and communicate forecast vs actual variations to 3PL.
  • Track Bollore Status reports for shipments to identify delays causing forecast vs actual variations.
  • Liaise with vendors (Bollore, Geodis, CEVA) to receive timely information on shipments and receiving.
  • Create an inbound priority list for 3PL based on out-of-stock analysis and product launches.
Outbound Operations:
  • Monitor DTR integration between Cegid and WMS.
  • Manage urgent DTR requests with 3PL coming from Merch and store teams.
  • Communicate priorities to 3PL when DTR quantities exceed forecast.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor DC cycle count schedules and follow up with 3PL according to agreements.
  • Regularly monitor high-value products and plan storage according to group guidelines.
  • Publish monthly expiry/shelf-life reports to stakeholders.
Warehouse Management:
  • Closely work with 3PL to maintain a clean, safe working environment at the DC.
  • Alert 3PL to handle stock and stored items with care and keep them in suitable locations.
Projects, Process Improvement, and Change Management:
  • Take ownership of the 3PL issue log to regularly follow up on outstanding issues and improvements.
  • Document 3PL VAS strategy and processes.
General Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Logistics Manager in validating/approving 3PL and freight invoices.
  • Act as a central point of contact for logistics/3PL issues to provide solutions to business teams.
