Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software engineering manager to join our team. As a senior member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale software development projects from concept to delivery
  • Manage and motivate high-performing teams of software engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps to drive innovation and improve software quality
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for software development methodologies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and coaching
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in multiple programming languages and software development methodologies
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
