Job Title: Senior Leader for Inclusive Education

We are excited to announce the creation of a new senior leadership position that reflects our strategic priority to champion excellence in Learning Enhancement (LE) and Gifted and Talented (G&T) across Junior and Secondary Schools.

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and leading inclusive education across K-12, representing Inclusive Education at the Executive level. You will drive the vision, strategy, and policy development in learning enhancement, gifted education, and EAL/D, with a strong focus on building staff capability in differentiation, enrichment, and inclusive teaching practices.

You will oversee student identification, case management, and compliance requirements, including NCCD and SCSA. A key aspect of this role is fostering meaningful partnerships with parents and the wider community through visibility, workshops, and clear communication, while promoting a culture of high expectations and personalised learning pathways for every student.

This is a maximum term, fulltime (1.0 FTE) role, commencing 2026. The position reports directly to the Head of Junior School and Head of Secondary School and works closely with the academic and pastoral leadership teams.

The successful applicant will have expertise in inclusive education, gifted education, cultural diversity, and/or learning support across K-12, as well as a strong understanding of disability, neurodiversity, giftedness, cultural, and linguistic diversity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building capacity in staff through mentoring and professional learning
  • Developing and implementing inclusive education strategies
  • Fostering partnerships with parents and the wider community
  • Overseeing student identification, case management, and compliance requirements

The following essential criteria must be addressed in your application:

  • Proven leadership in Inclusive Education (LE, G&T, EAL/D) across K-12
  • Strong knowledge of disability, neurodiversity, giftedness, and cultural/linguistic diversity
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance and legal requirements (NCCD, adjustments, SCSA)
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in educational leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
