Job Opportunity: Assistant Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Director. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leading and mentoring educators to achieve their full potential.

In this position, you will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the centre. You will be responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to educators, promoting professional growth and excellence in teaching practices. You will also lead and support room teams as a Team Leader, fostering strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

You will have a key role in ensuring our centre maintains a positive, high-quality learning environment and culture. You will engage in non-contact time to focus on centre management tasks, including rostering, team development, and compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
